Steam: Skin Delivery Proof Requirement
Last updated: 15 Jul 2026
To ensure a secure and verifiable Steam skin transaction, sellers must follow the steps below. Failure to provide sufficient delivery proof may result in G2G siding with the buyer in the event of a dispute.
Required Steps and Delivery Proof
Sellers are required to confirm the Steam profile link (Steam 64 ID) with the buyer before making any trade , and must submit two screenshots — one before and one after the trade — as proof of delivery. A video recording may also be used as an alternative.
Step-by-Step Requirements:
Show the Trade Offer Link
- Open and display the trade offer link provided by the buyer in a browser window.
Confirm the Steam Profile
- Click on the Steam profile link and ask the buyer to confirm that it belongs to them.
- This link must lead to the buyer's actual profile.
Make the Trade Offer
- Only proceed to send the trade offer after the buyer has confirmed that the Steam profile is correct.
Match Trade History with Confirmed Profile
- The Steam profile link shown in the trade history must be identical to the one previously confirmed by the buyer.
✅ Steam 64 ID (Steam profile link) can be found using this tool: https://steamid.xyz/
Important Notes
- Both the "before" screenshot (prior to trade) and "after" screenshot (post-trade showing trade history) are mandatory.
- If either of these is missing, G2G reserves the right to side with the buyer in any resulting dispute.
- Video proof is accepted as an alternative if it clearly shows all required steps.
